Thank you for visiting this site. My name is Chett Daniel. I am married with two children. My wife and I met in highschool and married after I got out of boot camp from the Marines. We both grew up middle class and put ourselves through college and both of us became educators. After our first child my wife stayed at home and I took a managemnet position with a large retailer. We have learned a lot about life, family, politics, and personal finance along the way and this is my opportunity to share with others. Last year, in order to spend more time with my family, I left my management position and returned to teaching along with my wife. We are now smack dab in the middle class and lovin it! Thanks for taking the time to put this blog together!! It’s very informative and helpful to us out here who are feeling a bit helpless in these times. I read the comment from your mom. Your young years sound very similar to our family of 5 kids growing up!! Mike and I worked hard and gave up much to raise our kids on a less than middle class income. Kudos to your folks.
